We got this hat for a trip to the carribean. My son was 8 months old and I was really nervous about taking him to the beach. I also got the matching strap on sunglasses and of course some SPF 55 sunscreen. He had no tan at all after a week of vacation. We will definitely be using this hat all summer. The back flap covers the ears and neck really well. Also like that it is reversible. And he wore it swimming and it dried easily.

This costume is adorable. Not too bulky and heavy for an infant. Bought it for
my grandson who is 6 months old. The only fault that we have seen with this is
the lines in the back of the shell do not line up. Other than that the costume
is unique and we love it.
