I initially bought these shoes for my grandson because my husband is a firefighter. These shoes light up, are adorable, and very well made. But the thing I like the best is that they are easy to get on his chubby little feet (I've had to return other shoes because of this). Plus, once they're on, they stay on. I even bought one size bigger so he would have them for awhile, and they still stay on. Finally, he loves looking at the lights when he moves his feet.

I like the squeaky shoe a lot. I laugh hysterically when my daughter would run around with them on. I also liked taking her to stores and letting her walk freely. Once the squeak would stop, I'd go check on her. It was easy to know where she was.

Most people thought the squeaky shoes were cute and giggled a bit. I can only imagine that if you have low tolerance to high pitched sounds.

My daughter got these when she was 18 months and really loved them. She's 3 now and her little brother has some and I can see she remembers and smiles along with him.

I would not recommend these shoes for new walkers. I used soft soled shoes or let my kids go bare feet when they were learning to walk.

These do the job pretty well. I prefer the snaps to the velcro, but my husband prefers the velcro. We use with the 4X8X4 unbleached chinese prefolds with these. We don't even pins or the little things they sell to keep them in place. We just fold the diapers in three, then fold the front over and tuck it in the front (for extra absorbency upfront for our boys). My only complaint is that we have to change them constantly! These don't wick away (pull the wetness to the other side of the fabric) the way Fuzzi Bunz do, so my 4 month old twins complain quickly if they've wet even a little. So, we are changing (and having to wash) a lot more often than we anticipated. The good thing is that the covers don't have to be changed every changing. Usually if they poop, because they usually get some on them in the process of changing, and after a couple wet diapers (because they start to smell like urine. They are a good cheap alternative to the more expensive all in one cloth diapers. But honestly, we won't buy any in the next size up. Once they outgrow these (still in the smalls at 14 lbs) we will either suck it up and buy some Fuzzi Bunz or switch to all disposable (we use disposable now only at night and when traveling).
